Experienced lettings negotiator/property manager required

An administratively demanding and varied role.

Candidate profile:

• Smart appearance

• Educated to A-level standard

• Tactful
• Sales/Commercial experience
• Ideally some experience of lettings/property
• PC literate/numerate
• Car owner/driving licence

•  Dealing with landlords and tenants face-to-face and on the telephone
  (occasionally dealing with difficult landlords/tenants)
• Conducting valuations of properties
• Marketing properties (company/industry web sites, property list, window display, To-Let boards)
• Conducting property viewings
• Referencing prospective tenants
• Setting up tenacies (bespoke software)
• Preparing tenancy agreements
• Registration of tenant deposits
• Conducting tenant check-ins and check-outs
• Checking rent receipts and chasing late payments (where applicable)
• Managing properties (landlords, maintenance, rents, contractors, issuing notices, negotiating tenancy renewals, rent increases)

• Salary: dependent on experience
• Hours: 9.00 to 5.00 weekdays; 9.00 to 1.00 alternate Saturdays
• 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
• Parking (permit)
• Use of car for business purposes: 40p/mile
